Who was Flannery O'Connor?

The New York Times offers a very helpful and well-written Flannery O'Connor topic page that offers information put together by Brad Gooch, author of Flannery: A Life of Flannery O'Connor.

The New Georgia Encyclopedia contains a nice biography of O'Connor's life and education that includes commentary on her work and a bibliography for further reading. Be sure to check out the additional articles on Wise Blood, The Violent Bear it Away, and her short fiction.
